Merchie Lee Ferguson

Merchie Lee Ferguson, 90, of Oologah, OK passed away at his home on January 28, 2017. He was born April 8, 1926 in Orange County, Downy CA

Merchie was a lifelong roofer. He liked to fish with friends and family, attend drag races, loved westerns. He served in the Sea Bees, construction battalion in the Navy, often cooking on ship.

Survivors: Ex-wife Dorothy Ferguson of the home, his children April and husband Zack Eye of Texas, Spring and husband Josh Horn of Oologah, Eli Ferguson and wife Alexis of Atlanta GA, Joseph Ferguson of Oologah, eight grandchildren and three great-grand children: Cheree Burns, Autumn Medieros, Wynter Medieros, Mason Ferguson, Lillian Horn, Hermione Horn, cousin Janet (Brutchin) Cook, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father Cleo Ferguson, his maternal grandparents, mother F. Hellen Stiles and husband Milburn, his uncle-like-a-brother Lester Brutchin and wife Fern, his brother Maurice Ray Ferguson and wife Winnie, aunts, uncles, beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
