Melba Beaver

Melbalene Beaver went home to her lord and savior on Friday October 30, 2009 She was born July 24, 1927 to Toney B. Beaver and Ollie Leona Church Beaver in Ellington, Missouri.

She married Elzie Frank Hart on January 5, 1946 Melbalene was a longtime resident of Collinsville during which time she worked as a registered dietician at Collinsville Memorial Hospital for over 17 years.

Survivors include her daughter: Cathy and son-in-law Richard Dunn of Satellite Beach, Florida. Granddaughters: Shannon and her husband Philip Wearsch of Florida and Christina and her husband Donald James Carr II of Kansas. Two great-grandchildren: Kaiya and Donald James Carr III of Kansas.

Her son: Elzie Wayne and wife Rita Hart of Collinsville, OK. Grandsons: Rolan, Weldon, and Justin Hart of Collinsville.

Sisters: Jaunita Beaver of Collinsville and Marium Pearce of Tulsa. Brothers: Toney Beaver Jr. and Jimmy Beaver both of Colorado. Sister-in-laws: Gracie Beaver and Marsha Beaver of Colorado and Alice Parks of Collinsville as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and her many Florida friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Elzie Frank Hart, her parents: Toney and Ollie Beaver, one sister: Erma Buffington, grandson: Christopher Sean Dunn and a granddaughter: Heather Dawn Hart.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Church of Christ in Collinsville, OK officiated by Jimmy Beaver. She will be laid to rest beside her late husband at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
