Max John Smith, 93, of Collinsville, OK passed away June 4, 2017 in Beggs, OK. He was born August 28, 1923 in Anness, KS to Walter Smith and the former Fern Clothier. He had lived in Collinsville for 42 years having moved from Tulsa, OK. He was a member of Meadowcreek United Methodist Church. He married Lorene Maxine Swartzendruber, March 4, 1944 in Norwich, KS, retired from Tuloma Crane and Machinery after 20 years.

He is survived 2 daughters: Shirley McCoy and her husband Jerry of Sperry, OK and Sharon Bratt and her husband Charles of Beggs, OK, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, 1 sister: Imogene Beat of Cheney, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. June 8, 2017 at the Meadowcreek United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Mangan and Derrell Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
