Matthew Kyle Dejarnett

Matthew Kyle DeJarnett, 30, of Collinsville passed away on August 6th, 2013. He was in a tragic car accident the morning of August 5th in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born in Tulsa to Dr. David DeJarnett and Mary DeJarnett on September 16th, 1982. He graduated from Collinsville High School in 2001 and was attending Carrington College for radiology in Phoenix, Arizona. Matt loved movies, video games, animals, and anything purple or Batman. He was full of love, laughter, and a positive spirit that touched everyone he knew.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Myers) DeJarnett; his father David DeJarnett and wife, Debbie of Owasso; his mother Mary DeJarnett of Stillwater; his brother Jeff DeJarnett and wife Junel of Coeur d’Alene, ID; and his sister Devon DeJarnett of Stillwater; He was a beloved uncle to 10 nephews and 1 niece.

Visitation will be Monday, 4:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m., August 12, 2013 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., August 13, 2013 at Rejoice Church, 13413 E 106th St N in Owasso with Rev. Leonard Pirtle officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, OK.
