Marybelle Gelvin

Marybelle Gelvin of Sperry, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, March 07, 2007 in Tulsa. She was 73. Marybelle was born March 3, 1934 in Tulsa to her parents Haywood and Clara (Toothman) Beavers. She graduated from Vera High School and lived in this area all of her life. She owned her own restaurant before retiring and was a member of the Oologah Roundup Club, the VVEC Coop., and the VFW. She will be missed by many.

Survivors include her 5 Children, Richard D. Johnson of Sperry, Billy Joe Johnson of Sapulpa, Francis L. Hopkins and husband David Ford of Tulsa, Michael Phillip Haywood Gelvin and wife Libby of Sperry, and Clara Susie Schoenfelt also of Sperry; numerous Grand and Great-Grandchildren, Family and Friends. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Phil Gelvin

Funeral Services for Marybelle will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Collinsville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment follows at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah. Under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
