Mary Lee Ray

Mary Lee Ray, 71 of Collinsville, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020.  Mary was born on July 8, 1949 to Troy and Nellie (Fortner) Hardester in Midwest City. She was a lifelong resident of the Collinsville area, having moved here as a small child.  Mary married David Ray on October 15, 1966 and together they raised two sons.  Mary worked in the retail industry for a time, as a warehouse employee for Drysdales.  She attended Beams of Light Family Church in Tulsa and enjoyed Joyce Meyers Ministries.  Mary enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.  Her main love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was a beautiful soul and she will be missed.

Mary is survived by her husband David Ray of the home; sons Ronnie Lee Ray and Johnny Lee Ray; her mother Nellie Packett; 5 sisters, Nanci Collier, Sue Ann England, Dorothy Hartloper, Robin Ferris and Christy Walton; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Mary was preceded in death by her father and 5 brothers.

The family will be holding a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Beams of Light Family Church, 1704 South Harvard, Tulsa, OK 74112.
