Mary Lue Jackson Melrose, 86, went to her heavenly home on November 12, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on December 15, 1932 in Dewey, OK to Mary and Ellis Jackson. Growing up she worked in her parent’s grocery store, Jackson’s Food Market, in Bartlesville. She married and was blessed with two children: Jim and Melinda. She worked at the Food Spot and Marple’s Thrif-T-Wise before going to work at Reda Pump from where she retired. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Addie and Seth who were the light of her life and lovingly called her Grandma Ernie.
She is survived by Melinda Marsh and her husband Jeff of Collinsville, Addie and Nathan Decker of Claremore and Seth and Alina Marsh of Panhandle, TX. Four great-grandchildren: Latiecia, Jackson, Joshua and Josiah Decker and one great-grandson on the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son: James Melrose, twin sister Marilyn Berg and a brother, Wayne Jackson.
Visitation will be Noon to 5:00 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK with Mr. Stacy Attebury.
Funeral services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral.
