Mary Katherine Butner

Mary Katherine Hall Butner, 86, a lifelong resident of Oologah, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Oxford Glen Memory Care of Owasso.

Mary Katherine was born to Edward Luther Hall and Mary Edith Leird Hall on March 22, 1936.  She was born at their home near Oologah on the land allotted to her father by the Cherokee Nation in 1905.  She attended the Snarr School through 8 ^th grade and then Oologah High School.

She is survived by son Robin Roberts and his wife Darla of Oologah, and her granddaughter Allison Bell, her husband Clay and their children Aiden and Thea of Oologah.  She is also survived by sisters Maggie Hargrove of Collinsville and Faye Godfrey of Florida, and brothers Walter Hall of Collinsville, Butch Hall of Oologah, and John Hall of Catoosa, and nieces and nephews too numerous to mention but all equally loved.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Butner, one son Harold Roberts Jr., two sisters, Jackie Hudson and Patricia Pearson, and two brothers, Robert Hall and William Hall.

A service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Oologah Assembly of God.  Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah.
