Mary Francis Hollis

Mary Francis Kub Hollis, age 82, passed away Tuesday, January 25,
2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mary, daughter of Dennis and Ella Kub,
was born July 9, 1939 in Dustin, Ok. She lived her early years in
Weleetka, Ok., attending and graduating from Weleetka Public
Schools in 1957. After graduation she married J.B. Hollis and moved
to Tulsa, Ok. and later to Oologah, Ok., where she lived until her
death.
She began her career in banking with Bank of Oklahoma in Tulsa,
where she worked in Human Resources for a span of 34 years. She
retired from Bank of Oklahoma in 2001.
Her retirement years were spent enjoying her children and
grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She tried to attend every activity
involving them. She was very active in her church, her knitting club,
Oologah Senior Citizens Group and loved garage sales. She also
enjoyed traveling with her sister, Yvonne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband J.B., brother
Glen, and a granddaughter.
She is survived by her son Randy Hollis of Ft. Smith, Ar., daughter
Debbie Hollis of Sapulpa, Ok., daughter Jo Ellen Hollis of Collinsville,
Ok., sister Yvonne Kub Oldacre, granddaughter Brooke Hollis
Ciarletti, grandson Lee Hollis, two great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Services are pending. Friends are making contributions to Oologah
Senior Citizen Center, PO Box 213, Oologah, OK 74053.
