Mary Ann Harrison passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Owasso at the age of 72. Mary was born on October 20, 1952, in Denver, MO, to James Robert and Joanna (Samborski) Gardner. She graduated High School in Stet, MO in 1971. In September of 1971 she married Ronald Bureman in Lexington, MO to this union her only child was born. Their marriage ended in 1974. She served her country in the United States Navy. She later moved back home near her parents and worked at Rival Manufacturing in Albany, MO until their closing. She and 2 of her coworkers decided to attend college at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, MO where all 3 of them received their degrees as Registered Nurses in 1989. In October 1994 she married her current husband David Harrison in Hot Springs, AR.
Mary was a very caring and loving person. Her desire to help and serve people led her to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse in the Home Health industry. Mary loved to travel. During many of these trips she was able to practice her love of photography and even became published.
Mary is survived by her husband, David Harrison of the home; her daughter, Carly and Jason Miller; 2 sisters, Virginia Kincaid and Carole Gardner; 3 grandchildren, Logan Miller, Kaleb Miller and Remington Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Louis Gardner and Bob Gardner.
A Memorial Service for Mary will be held on June 27, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel.
