Mary Louise Gannan

Mary Louise Gannan of Tulsa, passed peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the age of 84.

Born November 12, 1930 in Brimson, MO to Harley Jackson and Eva Ileene (Mendenhall) Hobbs. She attended grade school in Brimson, MO and graduated from Trenton High School. She raised four children with her husband Garland Wayne Gannan (deceased in 1991) in Collinsville, OK. When she lived in Collinsville, she worked at the Cardinal Dairy Dip for three years and the Rexall Drug Store for 18 years. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville. She was a very loving mother and really enjoyed her family. Over the years she enjoyed Garden Club, antiques, bingo, cards and games. She was still playing cards until recently.

Survivors include her children, Connie Douglass of Edmond, OK; Larry Gannan of Tulsa, OK; Danny Gannan of Overland Park, KS; and Joyce Summerhill of Sand Springs, OK. Also surviving are her brother Donald Hobbs of Prairie Village, KS; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service for Mary will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Carty officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
