Mary Ellen Dowell

Mary Ellen Dowell, 89, of Collinsville, OK passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. She was born Febuary 4, 1921 in Gentry, AR to Jesse Johnson Siens and the former Dora Lee Bugher. She was a retired Church Secretary.
She is survived by 5 Children: Sharon Cooper and her husband Gary of Houston, TX, Shirley Bedingfield and her husband Gene of Tulsa, OK, Joyce Merley and her husband Melvin of Collinsville, OK, David Dowell and his wife Karla of Inola, OK and Sandra Shaw of Key largo, FL. 1 Brother: Bob Siens and his wife Marie of Salina, OK. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Dowell, 3 brothers: Clark Siens, Luther Siens and Martin Siens, 3 sisters: Ola Belle Poynor, Ethel Spurgin and Ada Payne. She is also preceded in death by one grandson: Danny Cooper.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Southeast Baptist Church in Tulsa, Ok with Dr. Ival Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville,OK. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
