Mary “Katy” Catherine Britton, 75, passed away on October 5, 2026, in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born on September 21, 1951, to William and Margaret Britton and grew up in Ada, Oklahoma.

Katy attended Ada High School and worked for many years in the medical field as a nurse assistant and medical examiner for insurance companies. She took pleasure in gardening, sitting on the porch and living on the lake in Austin, TX for a number of years. She was a proud mom and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her son, James Garrison (Alicia), brother, Bill Britton (Laura), a grandson and niece. She was preceded in death by her parents. No formal services will be held. Her ashes will be scattered privately by the family at a later date.
