Mary Sue Briggs

Mary Sue Briggs, 60, of Collinsville, OK passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in Collinsville. She was born May 2, 1948 in Exeter, CA to J.D. Ruminer and the former Mary Katherine Dougherty. She had lived in Collinsville, OK since 1957. She was a member of 1st Pentecostal Church having volunteered as church secretary for a number of years. She worked in the Accounts Payable Department at Berendsen Fluid Power.
She is survived by her mother Mary Katherine Ruminer, 1 sister: Julia and her husband Bob Gougler of Coppell, TX. 6 Nieces: Barbara Bethel of Collinsville, OK, Terri Boren of Skiatook, OK, Lisa Sawyers of Coppell, TX, Dee Gougler of Roanoke, TX, Lacey Ruminer of Hackett, AR and Cindee Ruminer of Hackett, AR. 2 stepchildren: Denise Briggs and Andy Briggs of Corpus Christi, TX. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Andrew Briggs, Jr., her father, J.D. Ruminer, 2 brothers: Wayne and Jack Ruminer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2009 at the 1st Pentecostal Church in Collinsville with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
