Mark Layton Henry

Mark Layton Henry, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away August 18, 2007 in Oologah, OK. He was 54. Mark was born December 9, 1952 in Collinsville, OK to Sequoyah and Margie (Cochran) Henry. He married Shelia Dirickson on August 28, 1970 and together they raised two sons. Mark took over the family business, Henry Septic Tanks, at a very young age. The tradition is being carried on by his two sons, Rod and Chad. He was a member of Miracles of Faith Church in Collinsville. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Mark is survived by his wife, Shelia Henry of the home; 2 sons and their families, Rod Henry, his wife, Kim, and their 3 children, Harley, Layton, and Jaden, all of Oologah, and Chad Henry, his wife Sassy, and their 2 children, Kylie and Jordan, all of Claremore; 1 sister, Connie Ellis and her husband Larry of Rogers, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Sequoyah and Margie Henry and 2 brothers, Lonnie Henry and Jerry Colley.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 19, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Monday, August 20, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Miracles of Faith Church in Collinsville. Under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
