Margaret Estelle Thomas

Margaret Estelle Thomas was 92 when she passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Collinsville, Oklahoma. She was born September 20, 1919 to Cortez and Francis Hunter in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Margaret married James Elmo Thomas of Wainwright, Oklahoma on November 20, 1937 in Bakersfield, California. They had 7 children, Mary, Arnold, Mike, Pat, Charlie, Clifford, and Susan. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters, her husband Elmo who died in 1976, a daughter Mary Francis Nave and son in-law James Kenneth Nave of Skiatook, Oklahoma, daughter in-law Valerie Thomas, daughter in-law Linda Thomas, grandchild Amber Thomas, great grand children Kody Gilligan, Andrew Thomas, and Johnny Lee Richeson.

Margaret is survived by a son Arnold Lee Thomas of Fayetteville, Arkansas, a son Michael Ray and wife Debby Thomas of Portland, Oregon, a son Patrick Wayne and wife Marsha Thomas of Grove, Oklahoma, a son Charles Edward Thomas of Collinsville, Oklahoma, a son Clifford Allen and wife Katie Thomas of Virginia, a daughter Susan Estelle O'Kelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 29 grand children, 27 great grand children, and 3 great great grand children.

Visitation will be Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Owasso Church of Christ with Mr. Sydney Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
