Marbecka Othea Bond

Marbecka “Becky” Greece passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022. Becky was born June 19, 1939 to Jessie and Odis Greece in Collinsville, Oklahoma and resided in the area for most of her life. She graduated from Collinsville High School in 1957. Becky worked for OU Medical for many years until her retirement. A devout servant to the church that she attended, she loved the Lord and His word as much as she loved shaking the tambourine during worship. Sewing, quilting and shopping were done in down time. As Seen on TV items were always bought and given to gifts to people she loved. You could often find her with a group of friends playing card games during the day and making strawberry poke cake for the  church dinners in the evening. Regardless of the changing world, a disposable camera was always in hand, for she loved taking photos to hang on to precious memories. Spending time with her grandkids was always in the to-do list, and she was lucky enough to have 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Odis Greece, her infant son Brooke, her sisters Oweetha Greece Hays, and Jo Ellen Spurgeon, and her brothers, Paul Spurgeon, Chester (Chet) Spurgeon, and Odis Greece Jr.

She survived by her three children, Billy McGlaughlin, Gerri Grindle, and Sara Humler, her seven grandchildren, Jennifer McGlaughlin, Amy Boone and her husband Lee Boone, Bradley McGlaughlin, Lyndsey Goff and her husband James Goff, Logan Redington, Adysen Grindle, and Aden Grindle.  9 greats, EllaJo, Rilynn, Cauy, Daltyn, Quinn, Owen, Addyson, Katelynn, and Maycee

A graveside service will be held September 27th at 1:00 pm at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma
