Lynda L. Harkins

Lynda L. Harkins, 77, of Collinsville, OK passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. She was born in Tahlequah, OK on April 14, 1944 to Edmond Everett Payne II and the former Hazel Taylor. She graduated from Tahlequah High School and then from Northeastern State University. She married Phillip Weldon Harkins on June 19, 1964. They had lived in Miami, OK for 48 years having moved recently to Collinsville.

Visitation will be 1:30 to 6:00 pm, Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Young officiating.

Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

She is survived by her husband Phillip Weldon Harkins of the home, 2 children: John Harkins and his wife Kenna of Collinsville and Elisa Harkins of Tulsa, OK, 3 grandchildren: Meredith Harkins of Collinsville, Zachary Haynie of Claremore and Baylor Haynie of Tulsa, 1 great-grandchild: Charlie Lynn Haynie of Claremore, 1 brother: Edmond Evertt Payne III and his wife Sandy of Tahlequah, OK. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
