Louise Curtis, a long time resident of Talala, died peacefully in her sleep on April 5, 2006. She was born to the late Lonnie and Inez Thompson on November 11,1938 in Alluwe, Oklahoma where she attended Alluwe schools. She was married to Bob Curtis on December 20, 1958 in Chelsea, Oklahoma. Bob and Louise moved to Talala in 1968. Louise is survived by husband, Bob Curtis of the home. Son Bill and wife Rena Curtis of Talala. Daughter Vicky Cox, Rick and Thomas Reilly of Spring, TX., Granddaughters Tabetha Curtis and boyfriend Christopher Hinton of Tulsa, Ok., and Shelly Curtis and boyfriend Buck Yanulis of Claremore, Ok. Louise is also survived by brother Lyle and wife Peggy Thompson of Broken Arrow, Ok. Brother Warren and wife Opal Thompson of Alluwe, Ok. Sister Lucy and husband Herb Webb of Broken Arrow, Ok. Sister Lois Ann and husband Lloyd Skelton of Joplin, MO. Sister-In-Law Shirley (Curtis) Klein and husband Stephen Klein of Excelsior Springs, MO. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and many friends. Louise was proceeded in death by Mother and Father, Lonnie and Inez Thompson, and brother, Wayne Thompson. Funeral services were held Friday April 7,2006 at 2:30pm in Collinsville,Ok. Louise was laid to rest at the Winganon-Ketchum cemetery. Louise will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Our hearts are saddened, but we are thankful she is finally at peace.
