Louis Henry Keith of Collinsville, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. He was 75. Louis was born on September 11, 1940 to Louis Henry Keith, Sr. and the former Lucille Miller.
Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
Louis was a lifelong resident of the Collinsville area. Before he worked with the school he and his father owned and operated their dairy farm. He then worked as Director of Transportation for Collinsville Public Schools until his retirement. He attended Collinsville High School where he was active in the FFA. He received many awards including the star farmer of Oklahoma Award. He graduated from OSU with a degree in dairy production and agronomy. Louis was a big supporter of school activities and organizations, including the school's Crimson Cadets.
Louis is survived by his wife Peggy Keith of the home; his children, Angela Wilzcek, Trey Keith, Kendra Salisbury, Holly Bays, Stephanie Himebaugh, Christopher Watkins, Kacy Keim, and Kyle Keith; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lucille Keith, Sr.
