Louis Frank DeSilvio, 63, of Collinsville, OK, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20, 2010. Lou was born December 20, 1946 in Gibbstown, NJ to Frank Anthony and Anna “Pommie” DeSilvio. He married Diana Lee Humphrey on October 13, 1973 in Cherry Hill, NJ and they moved to Collinsville where they made a home for 37 years. Lou lived life more than most and was always learning and trying new things, but, more than anything else, Lou loved his family. Nothing made him happier than to be surrounded by his wife, his children and his 10 grandchildren. As a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso, it was his goal to fill an entire pew with just his family. He always had a ready smile and a helping hand. Everyone loved “Pappy”. He is irreplaceable and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Louis is survived by his wife, Diana DeSilvio; 3 children, Amie Hardy, Tiffany Betzer and husband Paul, Lori Stogsdill and fiancé Brent Fulton; 10 grandchildren, Shelbie, 15, Neily, 9, Cristian, 12, Isabella, 4 mos, Kaitlin, 15, Johnathan, 11, Triston, 13, Wyatt, 8, Kamryn, 7, and Trent, 5; his aunt, Viola Evangelista; his uncle, John Evangelista; numerous family and friends.
