Lottie Marie Norwine

Lottie Marie (Kissel) Norwine, 78, of Oologah, OK passed away at home Thursday, March 30, 2023. Lottie was born September 23, 1944, in Houston, Texas to Hubert John Kissel and the former Lila Jones. She grew up in St. Louis and later settled and lived in Kingsville, TX for 40 years before moving to Oologah 12 years ago.

Lottie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, teacher and friend. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, James (Jim) Norwine; 3 children: Colleen Norwine and her partner Gary Leiker of Castle Pines, CO, John Norwine and his wife Jan of Sioux Falls, SD and Noelle Jackman and her husband Jim of Cape Coral, FL; 5 grandchildren: Brandon Fling and his wife Brittany, Jake Fling, Noah Norwine, Mason Norwine and Nick Jackman; and 1 great-granddaughter, Amelia (Pip/Ammie) Fling. She is survived by 2 sisters, Lucy Kissel and Laurie Hansell. Her brother, Dr. John Kissel, recently passed. Lottie had travelled to all 50 states and enjoyed reading mysteries and tending to her flowers. A warm and loving light to so many, she will be greatly missed.

A memorial service is being held on Friday, April 7, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is at 10am and the service is at 11am.  Flowers are by Garner’s Flowers.
