Lorraine G. Devine, a beloved member of the Collinsville community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on August 1, 1929, in Warren, RI, to John and Mabel (Carter) Boulanger, Lorraine’s vibrant life was marked by a deep dedication to her family and community.
Lorraine earned her associate’s degree and established a successful career as a Real Estate Broker. In 2002, she moved from Wakefield, RI, to Oklahoma, where she continued to make a lasting impact. At Home Depot, Lorraine was a familiar and cherished face, known for her warm spirit and friendliness.
She is survived by her three children, Dan Devine, Dave Devine, and Eileen Richardson; her brother, Donald Boulanger; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband George W. Devine, two children, Donna Devine and Donald Devine; her grandson Joshua Richardson; and her brother, John Boulanger.
Lorraine will be fondly remembered as a matriarch with a spicy spirit and an unwavering love for her family. Her care extended to all she encountered, including her special bond with Finn.
Collinsville’s in her honor will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 1, 2024, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville; with a celebration of life to follow.
Lorraine's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by many.
