Loretta Francille "Fran" Campbell

Loretta Francille “Fran” Campbell, daughter of Joe and Mary Carrione passed away on Saturday July 13, 2024, because of pneumonia complications after a fall. Franny was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma on Sept. 13, 1938, to Joe and Mary Carrione. After graduating college at Northeastern State University, she had a vibrant elementary school teaching career starting in Albuquerque NM, later retiring from Tulsa Public Schools in Oklahoma.  She loved teaching first grade and considered all the students as her own children.

Fran enjoyed music and singing with her sister. She never considered herself an animal person until she met two rescue dogs, Raggs and Casey, who she adored.

Franny is preceded in death by her husband, Jon M. Campbell and her former husband Don Prock.  She is survived by her twin siblings Joseph “Bud” Carrione and Mary C. West. Fran was a beloved Aunt to Maleta Carrione Herrera, Marc West, and Brenda West.  She will be sorely missed by family and friends. A memorial will be held starting at 10am on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Oologah Community Center at 215 S Mable, Oologah Ok, 74053.

Fran had a passion for early education for all children, often working with special needs children.
