Lorene Evelyn Vickers

Lorene Evelyn Vickers of Collinsville, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 in Owasso, OK. She was 88. Lorene was born October 9, 1919 in Stillwater to Robert Elton and Edith (Pettit) Miller. She met and married William Link Vickers and together they raised four children. They moved to the Collinsville area in 1951 having moved from Drumright. William preceded her in death in 1981. Lorene enjoyed reading and formerly played the piano in church. She loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by many.
Lorene is survived by 4 Children, Don Vickers and wife Helen of Tulsa, Judy Patton and husband Dan of Collinsville, JoAnn Wilburn and husband Dan of Branson, MO, and James Elton Vickers and wife Pam of Collinsville; 4 Sisters Wilda Majors, Lula Majors, Berniece Garcee, and Delores Stites; 1 Brother, Alvin Miller; Granddaughter, Andrea Dawn Winton of the home and 11 other Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; numerous Nieces and Nephews, family and friends.

Visitation: Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at Miracles of Faith in Collinsville with Rev. Jim Carney officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
