Lonnie Warren Wilder, Sr.

Lonnie Warren Wilder, Sr. of Collinsville, OK, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. He was 63. Lonnie was born June 12, 1947 to Thomas and Carrie (Collins) Wilder in Ponder, MO. He moved from Missouri in 1966 to the Tulsa area. Until recently, he worked as a mechanic for Grand National Trailers in Tulsa. When not working, Lonnie enjoyed restoring classic cars. He was known and loved by many. He will be missed.

Lonnie is survived by his sons, Lonnie W. Wilder, Jr. and wife Shari of Glenpool, and Robert Wilder of Claremore; his stepchildren, Ernie Mendenhall and wife Carrie of Broken Arrow, and Layhoma Smith and husband Randy of Collinsville; 2 sisters, Faye Wallace and Pearl Hagan and husband Ed; his brother-in-law, David James; 9 grandchildren, Arianna Wilder, Aslynn Wilder, Eden Wilder, Justin Wilder, Zoe Wilder, Garryck Mendenhall, Caleb Mendenhall, Andrew Smith, and Elizabeth Smith; 2 great grandchildren, Alex Smith and Allyson Smith; his former wife Marlynn “Sue” Wilder; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Susan Wilder, and 24 siblings.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall.
