Lillian Marie Kirkland

Lillian Marie Kirkland, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away August 15.

She was born March 20, 1937, in Hulbert, OK to Virgil Owen, Sr. and Ruth Norwood. She was married to Herbert Kirkland who preceded her in death the previous year.

Lillian worked for Coburn Optical Industries, first in Muskogee and later in Tulsa until she retired. She lived in Wagoner for many years during her first marriage to Joe Teague and raised a family there. She and Herb lived in Collinsville and raised his sons there.

Lillian is survived by three children and two stepchildren: Sherry Walker, of Sand Springs; Sandra Walling, of Locust Grove; Roy Teague of Tulsa; Zack Kirkland, of Collinsville; and Mark Kirkland, of California. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three sisters and a brother. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Foss, of Wagoner.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
