Letha Inez Cartwright Wode

December 6, 1920 — July 4, 2008

Letha Inez Cartwright Wode, born December 6, 1920 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Jacob and Margaret (Baker) Cartwright passed from this life on July 4, 2008. Inez grew up in the Evansville, Arkansas area and graduated from Morrow High School in Morrow, Arkansas in March 1939. She came to the Tulsa area after graduation to find employment. She was a lathe operator at Douglas Aircraft. Her family eventually relocated to Collinsville in 1943. She married Robert B. Wode on February 20, 1946. She is survived by daughters: Arilla Karlak and husband Pete of Owasso and Rhonda Paul and husband Gary of Collinsville, grandchildren: Brian and Brooke Paul of Collinsville, Ryan and Jennie Paul of Tonkawa, and Justin T. Paul of Collinsville and great-grandson, Hunter Paul of Collinsville, sister, June Lunsford, Morrill, NE and sister-in-law, Jane Cartwright of Collinsville and many nieces and nephews. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, Verda Menser and her husband Robert B. Wode. Inez and her husband owned Wodes Hardware for 28 years. She was a member of the Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church. Inez loved her Lord and Savior, her family, her church and her community very much. She will be greatly missed.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the Collinsville Free Will Baptist Chlurch with interment at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
