Leslie Monte Hipp, of Oologah, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Oologah. He was 70. Leslie was born on January 17, 1944 in Tulsa, to Max and Grace (Gosnell) Hipp. He married Betty Bolin on August 13, 1982. Leslie worked as a truck driver for 30 years before his retirement. His hobbies included working on cars, fishing, tinkering, but especially golfing. He was loved by his family and will be missed dearly.

Leslie is survived by his wife Betty Hipp of the home; his sons, Monte Hipp and wife Kathy of Adair, Tony Hipp and wife Norma of Verdigris, Audie Hipp of Claremore, Patrick Hipp of Oologah, Heath Hipp of Oologah, and Keith Hipp of Owasso; 2 brothers, his twin brother Wesley Hipp and John Hipp; his sister Nora Cooper; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents Max and Grace Hipp; and 4 brothers, Hugh Hipp, Arthur Hipp, Allen Hipp, and Bill Hipp.

Visitation for Leslie will be Tuesday, January 28, 2014, from 2:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
