Leo Joseph Sweetman

Leo Joseph Sweetman passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007 in Collinsville, OK. He was 88. He was born September 20, 1918 to Nicholas and Anna Sweetman in Edina, MO. Leo served in the Army Air Corp from 1942 to 1946. He then moved to the Collinsville area in the 1950s and worked as an aircraft mechanic at American Airlines until his retirement. He was a member of the Elks Club of Tulsa and enjoyed going to Blue Grass Festivals. He will be missed by many.

Leo is survived by his wife Mable Sweetman of the home; 1 Daughter, Carolyn E. Davis of Collinsville; 1 Grandson, Tyler C. Davis of Collinsville; and 1 Great Grandson, Brayden A. Davis of Collinsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Anna Sweetman. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Sweetman.

Visitation for Leo will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church on Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m, with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.. The Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Friday, June 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese. Under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home.
