Larry Charles Bell, 72, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 in Collinsville. He was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, to Charles and Yvonia Bell. He had two sisters, Betty Church and Florence Campbell, and one brother, Ernie Bell. Larry served in the Air Force from 1956-1960. He married Esther Bell from Texas in 1966 and together they raised two daughters, Cheryl and Angela.
Larry was a minister for forty-two years. He had many friends and was known for being involved in numerous activities. He loved building and flying airplanes, kickboxing (Black Belt) and playing in a Bluegrass band. His friends and family enjoyed laughing with him at his many humorous stories. Larry thought the world of his friends and family, including his three grandchildren. This love was affectionately returned by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Esther of the home, 2 daughters: Cheryl Bell of Tulsa and Angela Mandel and her husband Loris of Oologah. 3 grandchildren: Cassidy, Dustin, Jenna Mandel. He is also survived by his brother, Ernie Bell and his wife Julie of Beliot, WI.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.
A memorial service will be will 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Hope Church, 1502 East College Street, Broken Arrow, OK
