Kirby Allen Stallings, 48, of Vinita, OK passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 in Vinita, OK. He was born February 14, 1962 in Scott City, KS to Tom Stallings and Kit Knouse. He had lived in this area since 1989 having worked at Victory Energy for the last 5 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the N.R.A.
He is survived by his wife, Lori of the home. 5 children: Christopher Dyer of Collinsville, Jeremy Katon and his wife Jennifer of Chelsea, OK, Amber Morra of Phoenix, AZ, Adam Katon and his wife Deanna of Collinsville, Charity Katon of the home. His father: Tom and Wanda Stallings of Garden City, KS and his mother: Kit and Ken Green of Garden City, KS. 2 sisters: Shannan Burns of Cimarron, KS and Staci Kennedy of Garden City, KS. 1 step brother: Richard Maynard of Garden City, KS, 2 step-sisters: Pam Algrim of Dodge City, KS and Cheryl Palkowitsch of Larned, KS, and 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other friends and relatives.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Marci Stallings.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Baptist Tabernacle Church in Collinsville, OK with Rev. Gary Cate officiating. Interment will follow at the Winganon-Ketchum Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
