Kenneth Aaron Pollard, 75, passed away on October 6, 2026, in Owasso, Oklahoma. Kenny was born on June 24, 1951, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Kenneth E. Pollard and Joann Pollard.
Kenny graduated from Collinsville High School in 1969 and attended Tulsa Junior College and Northeastern State University. He also joined the Air National Guard shortly after high school, serving in San Antonio. He married Janice Johnson Pollard, his high school sweetheart, on June 30, 1972, at First United Methodist Church in Collinsville. Kenny worked hard all his life as a project manager for a general contractor before retiring. He was a longtime member of Meadowcreek United Methodist Church in Collinsville and served in several leadership positions within the church, as well as heading the building committee and singing in the church choir.
Kenny was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from the time he shared with those he loved. He treasured every moment with his family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or simply be present when he was needed. His children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and his love, and unwavering support will forever remain a cherished part of their lives.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Johnson Pollard; son Brady Pollard and his wife Angel of Edmond; son Court Pollard and his wife Laura of Owasso; his four grandchildren Caleb, Gentry, Adeline, and Claire; his sister Kathie Eyler and her husband Dean of Collinsville; and brothers David Pollard of Owasso, and Roger Pollard. He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Joann.
Visitation will be held at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home in Collinsville on Monday, October 12th, from 12:00 to 8:00 pm, the family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be at Meadowcreek United Methodist Church in Collinsville on Tuesday, October 13th, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Herman House Hospice or Meadowcreek United Methodist Church.
