Kenneth Eugene Bacon

Kenneth Eugene Bacon of Collinsville, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Claremore at the age of 96.  Kenneth was born on July 27, 1925 in Bernice, OK to Lawton and Ollie Mae (Kaiser) Bacon.  He served his country in the Army during WWII.  He was a lifetime member of the Joe Keith VFW Post 3077 in Collinsville.  Kenneth married Bessie Pauline Wilcox and together they started their family. They recently celebrated their 75th Anniversary.  Kenneth worked for Ramsey Winch as a Leadman Drill Press Operator until his retirement. He was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle in Collinsville. Some of Kenneth’s hobbies included fishing, gardening, hunting, boating, and camping with his family.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Bessie Bacon of the home; his children, Brenda Hinds, Carol Shrout, and Ronald E. Bacon; his sister Retha Mae Ringer; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.  Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Travis Dean Bacon; granddaughter Regan Michelle Bacon; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation for Kenneth will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Baptist Tabernacle in Collinsville, with Pastor Gary Boyd officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery where military honors will be performed by members of Post 3077.
