Judy Ann (Fuller) Herald was born on February 15, 1949 in Stigler, OK and passed to her
heavenly home on November 27, 2021 at 72 years of age.
Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Memorial services will be 4:00 pm, Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Pat Herald Elementary School with Rev. Jim Carney officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in honor of Judy be made to the Collinsville Education Foundation, P.O. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; Jennings Bryan and Alice Ray Harrell Fuller, four
brothers; J.B. Fuller, Bill Fuller, Jerry Fuller and Muriel Fuller, two sisters; Gloria Rinke and
Linda Burgess, three nephews; Joe Bryan, Lowry and Rendil, and inlaws; Frank, Peggy and Dan
Herald.
Judy is survived by her husband of over 52 years, Pat Herald of the home; One daughter, Keeli
Herald Bowers of Collinsville; One son, Damon Herald and his wife Alicia of Collinsville, 3
grandchildren; Mia Bowers, Jace Herald and Bella Herald all of Collinsville; two sisters, Melba
Dennis of Broken Arrow and Donna Morris and her husband Ed of Mounds; Sister-in-law, Mary
Obert, her husband Allen and son Drew of Jenks; brother-in-law, Mike Herald of Bonita Springs,
FL; extended family members, Bob Cottingim and Jeff Holman both of Collinsville; a host of
nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Judy was born at home in Stigler, Oklahoma the 8th of 9 children. She attended Stigler and
Bixby public schools where she graduated with the class of 1967. Judy was a very popular young
lady. This was shown with her selection as both DECA queen and football homecoming queen.
She met the love of her life, Pat Herald, at Dutches swimming pool in Tulsa. They later married
in August of 1969. From this union two children were born; Keeli Herald Bowers and Damon
Herald. She attended Draughon’s School of Business for two years and worked at Oral Roberts
University before becoming a school secretary at Collinsville Public Schools where she worked
for over 39 years before retiring in 2014. Judy’s undisputed, true pride and joy are her three
grandchildren; Mia, Jace and Bella.
Some of Judy’s favorite pastimes include; watching her grandkids at their many activities and
sporting events, spending time with family on Grand Lake, the Oklahoma City Thunder,
listening to Elvis Presley, watching black and white movies and she was an avid supporter of the
OSU Cowboys and the Collinsville Cardinals.
Judy grew up in a Southern Baptist home. Her love of her Lord, faithful prayers and the way in
which she lived her life gives the family great comfort in knowing that this is not a goodbye but
a see you soon. We love you!
