Juanita Pavey

Velvin Juanita “Nita” Pavey, 86 of Collinsville, OK passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 in Collinsville, OK. She was born in Tulsa, OK to Bowlin Albert and Thelma L. (Lovitt) Swift on September 23, 1926. She had lived in Collinsville since 1944. She graduated from Sperry High School, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church.

She is survived by 5 Children: Danny Pavey and his wife Linda, David E. Pavey, Doug Pavey and his wife Janet, Darla Higginbotham and her husband Tony and Denise Pavey all of Collinsville. 5 Siblings: Burl Swift of Collinsville, Christine Smith of Texas, Reva Dirickson of Collinsville, Harvey Swift of Claremore and Leon Swift of Madison, FL. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Pavey and 1 infant daughter, Debra Joy Pavey.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
