Joyce Ann David Christian

Joyce Ann David Christian, 69, of Collinsville, OK, was called home to the Lord, Saturday, February 28, 2009. She went peacefully at her home surrounded by family. She was born January 15, 1940 in Smyrna, Delaware to John N. and Ruth C. (Lane) David. Joyce had lived in Fayetteville, NC before moving to Collinsville on September 5, 2006. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Owasso, OK. She sang in the church choir and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Night Owls. She enjoyed traveling and loved Elvis Presley.

Joyce is survived by 1 daughter: Christy and her husband Rasel Khondaker of Collinsville, OK. 1 sister: Pamela Blansfield of Nottingham, Pennsylvania and 1 brother: John Mitchell of Nottingham, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her Aunt Bertie, Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Vivian, and a sister-in-God, Khaleda Begum.

She is to be greeted in heaven by Jesus, by her parents, her husband, Lawrence C. Christian and a brother, Richard C. David.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Owasso with Reverend Taud Boatman officiating. Under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, www.collinsvillefh.com.
