Joshua William Payton

Joshua William Payton, 16, of Oologah, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Tulsa surrounded by his loved ones. Josh was born on November 16, 1999 in Gravette, AR. He was a student at Oologah-Talala High School, where he was a member of the swim team and in FFA. Josh also was involved with OK Kids Korral and Bit by Bit. He loved being active and spending time with people. He enjoyed fishing, reading, swimming, the OSU Cowboys and his horse. He will be missed by many. Josh is survived by his parents, Jacky and Marie Payton; his siblings, Garrett, Jacob, Gavin, Losha, Gracie, and Jared Payton, and the person that brought the biggest smile to his face, his niece, Ashlynn Grace Payton.  His paternal grandparents, Bill Payton and Sandy Evans, and maternal grandparents, Gary and Rosetta Bradley; his great grandmother, Lois Bradley; aunts Sherry Raabe and Tracey Miller; his uncle, Scott Bradley; his cousins, Walker, Jensen, Dawson, and Hunter Raabe and Trisha, Clayton, and Colby Bradley; and a host of extended family and friends. Box 189, Oologah, OK 74053. Visitation for Josh will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home in Collinsville. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Oologah High School Auditorium with Rev. Russell Hill and Rev. Scott McAfee officiating.
