Joseph Wallace Rhine, 89, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007. He was born August 23, 1918 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents Richard Randolph and Mary Frances (Naughton) Rhine. As a child he lived at 120 S Indianapolis in Tulsa. Mr. Rhine was a 1937 graduate of Central High School. He attended the University of Tulsa. He enlisted in the military in 1942 at the age of 22. Mr. Rhine served in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years and the Reserves for 11 years. He was employed as the Operating Manager for 35 years by Glass-Nelson Clinic. He enjoyed working with stained glass, which served as his main hobby for 40 years. He will be missed by many.

Mr. Rhine is survived by his loving Wife, Coleen Martin Rhine; 2 Sons, Richard Randolph Rhine and Joseph W. Rhine, III and his wife Cindy; 2 Step-sons, Darryl F. Roberts and his wife Linda, and Mark E. Roberts; 3 Grandchildren, Jordan and Jamie Rhine, and Christy Cotterman; 2 Great Grandchildren, Denton and Taylor; many friends and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mary Rhine and 2 siblings, Mary Catherine and Richard Rhine.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 2, at Moore's Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st. St. Under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home.
