John Luther Pritchett

John Luther Pritchett, 71, of Oologah, OK passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Tulsa, OK. He was born February 9, 1938 in Las Cruces, NM to Marion Luther Pritchett and the former Dovie Darlene Madison. He had lived in Oologah for 18 years, moving from Beckley, WV. He retired in 1994 having worked as a master mechanic. He married Kay Eleanor Graham in Albuquerque, NM in April 30, 1960. He was an avid fisherman. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Kay of the home. 1 son: Marion Pritchett of Oologah, OK and 1 daughter: Laura Clevenger of Illinois. 1 Brother: Joe Pritchett of Las Cruces, NM and 1 sister: Dovie Ryan of Broken Arrow, OK.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: M.L. Pritchett of Tulsa, OK, Amber Rashid of Tulsa, OK, Johnny Pritchett, of St. Louis, MO, Ashley Pritchett of Oologah, OK, Jimmy Pritchett of Owasso, OK, Megan Vanderpool of Chelsea, OK, Amanda Pritchett of Owasso, OK, and 5 great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville, OK with Dr. Tim Prock officiating. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
