John Henry Hunt

John Henry Hunt, 81, resident of Collinsville since 1986, having moved from Tulsa. He passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, in Collinsville. He was born December 14, 1942, in Broken Arrow, OK to Willie Riley Hunt and the former Lydia Sarah Creekmore. In his early years he was a Horse Jockey. He later worked as an Auto Glass installer and a Glazer. He was in a country music band as well. He married Sandra Jo Lynn Burch on December 13, 1974.

Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Hunt. 1 son: Rollie Hunt and his wife Donna, 2 Daughters: Angela Burch and Shelley Zavala. 7 Grandsons: Bryan Hunt and his wife Megan, Matthew Hunt, Johnny Hunt, Hayden Miller, Ryan Hunt, Brycen Gosney and Jake Hunt. 2 granddaughters: Christina Beaver and Carrie Acosta, 1 brother: Charley Hunt, 5 sisters: Sarah Evans, Mary Chambers, Shirley Mossier, Betty Sellers, Billie Boyd.  He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: 1 son: Dwayne Hunt, grandson: Jamie Hunt, 1 brother: Willie Hunt and 1 sister: Tressie Hunt.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
