John Henry Roberts

John H. Roberts, 76, of Talala, OK, went home to be with his Father surrounded by his loving family on May 22, 2014.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, John retired from Dover Norris in 2003 after 43 years of employment. He went on to continue his 25 year true passion of showing his love and faith in Christ by ministering to those who he felt needed the love of Christ in their life the most. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather John loved spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife of 57 wonderful years Christina Roberts, Daughter Lori Roberts of Claremore, OK, Sons John Roberts of Tucson, AZ, and Michael Roberts of Broken Arrow, OK, adopted son Robbi Alexander of Broken Arrow, OK. Grandchildren, Lisa Cote of Tucson, AZ, Christopher Moore of Claremore, OK, David Roberts of Tulsa, OK, Adam and wife Sawyer McCreary of Tulsa, OK, Amber and husband Kyle West of Catoosa, OK, and Kristy and husband Corey Sturgill of Claremore, OK. Along with 2 great – grandchildren and 1 on the way. Also survived by his mother Constance Roberts of San Antonio, TX and Chris Roberts of California.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 27th from 9am to 8pm at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, Collinsville, OK.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28h at 10:00am at Rabbs Creek Baptist Church 10100 S 4060 Rd in Talala, OK. Interment to follow immediately at Talala Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral.
