John C. Harrold

John C. Harrold, 89, of Collinsville, OK passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 in Owasso, OK. He was born April 3, 1921 in Collinsville to John O. Harrold and the former Dessie Dirickson. He married Ruby Reynolds on September 15, 1955 in Claremore, OK. He had lived most of his life in the Collinsville-Oologah Area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville where he served as a Deacon. He was retired from McDonnell Douglas after 29 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby of the home. 3 children: Adrein E. Huck and his wife Ruth of Tulsa, Judy M. Combs and her husband John of Collinsville, and Dean Harrold and his wife Nancy of Claremore, OK, 12 grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. 2 brothers: Lee Harrold of Collinsville and Ray Harrold and his wife Mary Sue of Collinsville, and 1 sister: Mary McAlvain of Wichita Falls, TX and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Bob Harrold and 2 sisters: Marcella Sharmaker and Maxine Brewer.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from noon to 8:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
