Jo Ellen Hollis

Jo Ellen Hollis, age 59, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 in Tulsa, OK.

Jo Ellen, daughter of J.B. and Mary Hollis was born August 15, 1963 in Chickasha, OK. The family moved to Oologah, OK. During Jo’s early years.

She attended and graduated from Oologah schools. During her High School years, she was honored to be chosen “Oklahoma All State Guard” in basketball.

After graduation, she worked in the accounting department at Texaco Oil Company for many years. After Texaco moved its headquarters, she decided to change her profession and entered the nursing field. She loved doing home health care and nursing in assisted-living facilities. She had a passion and so much love for “her” patients.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece.

She is survived by her brother, Randy Hollis of Ft. Smith, AR., sister, Debbie Hollis of Sapulpa, OK. Nephew, Lee Hollis, niece, Brooke Hollis Ciarletti,  2 great nieces, Aunt, Yvonne Keb Oldacre and several Cousins.

Friends can make contributions to the American Cancer Society of Oklahoma.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.  Cremation Services were under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111, collinsvillefh.com.
