Jimmy Edward Finnell, 74, of Owasso, OK passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. He was born June 30, 1936 in Tulsa, OK to Herbert Earl Finnell, Sr. and the former Edna Dale Luton. He had lived all of his life in the Owasso/Tulsa area having worked at Crane Carrier for several years and then retiring from Finnell Compressor in June of 1999. He enjoyed Pheasant hunting with his brothers in Nebraska. He was a member of the I.O.O.F.
He is survived by his two sons: Mike Edward Finnell and Mark Edward Finnell, both of Owasso, his special friend, Mary Kaonohi of Collinsville. one Brother: Herbert Earl Finnell, Jr. and his wife Melba of Owasso. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Darren Drew Finnell, one sister, Donna Miller, and two brothers: Richard and Jerry Finnell.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2011 and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Helmer Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso, OK.
