Jimmie Eugene Sweaney

Jimmie Eugene Sweaney, 88, of Collinsville passed away, Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Collinsville, OK. He was born August 19, 1922 in Chanute, KS to Hessel and Maude (Anderson) Sweaney. He retired from the Tulsa International Airport. He was a member of American Legion, V.F.W and D.A.V.

He is survived by 3 grandsons: Jack Miller and his wife Karen of Talala, OK, Gary and his wife Daena Miller of Collinsville, OK and Jay Miller and his wife Dianna Miller of Collinsville, OK. 1 sister: Jena Lea Barker of Washington. 6 Great-grandchildren: Cody Miller, Brooke Miller, Adam Miller, Josh Pollard, Waylon Miller and Abby Miller and 8 Great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Flossie, 1 son: Jack Miller, 1 daughter: Berta Joan Torbett and 1 sister: Mary Willes.

Visitation will be noon to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Vera Full Gospel Church with Rev. Jim Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
