Jill Diann Merrell

Jill Merrell, 64, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She passed away September 27th, 2024 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family lovingly by her side. Jill was born on January 25th, 1960, to Ira and Audrann Rice in Tulsa. She was a 1978 graduate of Berryhill High School.

Jill loved her family, friends, horses, flying and softball but quite possibly the second MOST important thing - OU football!

Jill is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Merrell; daughter, Sonya Ford and her husband Bobby- their children Dallas, Paige and Cadyn; step-son, Bryan Merrell and  his wife Michelle-their children Bryan Jr. and Remi; mother, Audrann Rice; sister, Nancy Harris and her husband Ronnie; and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ira Rice and brother, Wesley Rice.

Family, friends and others whose lives Jill touched are invited to join us for a celebration of life to be held at First Baptist Church of Collinsville, Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 at 10:00AM. Visitation will take place at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home in Collinsville on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 from 12-8PM (family present from 5-7).
