Jewel Ruth (Terrill) Hendrix, 87, of Collinsville, OK passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, in Gore, OK. She was born February 28, 1934, in Vian, OK to John Jennings Terrill and the former Mertie Vessel. She moved to Collinsville in May of 1960. She had worked for several years at OK Food Market and then for Dr. Lloyd Huneryager and Dr. Bob Bratton as a secretary. She was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and of the First Assembly of God church in Collinsville.
Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to7:00 pm.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Round Mountain Cemetery in Vian, OK with Rev. Tommy Ballard officiating.
Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the First Assembly of God Church in Collinsville with Rev. Jeff Bradley officiating.
She is survived by 2 sons: Terrill Hendrix and his wife Debbie of Broken Arrow, OK and Robert Hendrix of Collinsville, 3 grandchildren, Aaron Hendrix, Alex Hendrix, and Justin Hendrix. 2 great-grandchildren: Haylee Grace Hendrix and Quinn Hendrix. 2 sisters: Mary Burr and her husband Tom of Collinsville and Jeanie Barnes and her husband Skip of Collinsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Earl Hendrix.
Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
