Jerry L. Carper

Jerry L. Carper of Owasso, passed away on July 10, 2024 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 90.  Jerry was born on July 24, 1933 in Okemah, OK to Charles H. and Eudola (Baker) Carper, Sr.  After high school, he proudly served his country as a SSgt in the United States Air Force.  He made his career with Braden Winch until his retirement.  Jerry and his wife, Barbara, were married 65 beautiful years and  enjoyed traveling the country in their motorhome, boating, fishing, waterskiing, and cooking out. They were active and dedicated members of the Methodist Church of Owasso.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Carper and dog, Dixie of the home; 2 sisters, Betty Jackson and Rose Reddick; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings, Patsy Lane, Bennie Henderson, Bobbie Postert, and Charles H. “Bud” Carper, Jr.
