Janice Eilleen Lloyd

Janice Eilleen Lloyd, 82, resident of Collinsville, OK passed away on September 7, 2021, from COVID-19 complications at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

Janice was born December 13, 1938 to John and Gladys Russell in Perry, Iowa. She moved to Oklahoma in 1959 and married her sweetheart Billie Earl Lloyd March 8, 1960. They went on to have 3 great kids and enjoyed more than 35 years of marriage.

Janice was known to be a hard worker not retiring until the age of 80. She found that her passion was serving others and had a 25 year career. She was an avid square dancer and was a long-time member of the Northeast Square Dancing Association. She loved traveling and had many adventures including stopping at casinos all over the area. She reveled in simple pleasures like having a Pepsi and watching the Game show network but her favorite pastime was spending time with her beloved family.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents John and Gladys, husband Bill, brother Darwin Russell, and Grandson Michael Jack.

She is survived by her children Jolene and Gregory Thompson, Patricia McCombs, and John Lloyd along with 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

All services will be held at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home in Collinsville, OK with visitation on Monday September 13, from 9am-8pm with the family available 4-8. The Memorial will be Tuesday September 14, at 10am with interment to follow. The family will receive visitors afterwards.
